On this Monday, named for the Moon, we find ourselves under a deeply waning crescent, a luminous sliver at 42%. It’s a time not for outward growth, but for gentle drawing in, for release, for preparing the ground for what is yet to come. With Samhain just four days away, the veils are thinning, urging us towards introspection and honest appraisal. Today’s rune, Thurisaz, speaks of the thorn – a natural defense. It reminds us to honor our boundaries, to discern wisely where to place our energy, and to choose our battles with care. Let this lunar phase and ancient wisdom guide your steps, grounding you in quiet strength as the wheel turns.
